Advertisement for Bids Water System Improvements Transmission Line and Pump Station Muskogee County Rural Water District No. 7
is hereby given that the
Muskogee County Rural Water District No. 7
(Muskogee Co. RWD No. 7) will receive sealed bids at their office at 101 N. Leo Lane, Fort Gibson, OK 74434 up to 10:00 a.m. on August 1, 2017 for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work necessary for:
The project consists of: Approximately 7,600 lf of 12” water line, 40 lf of 20” bore and Booster Pump Station and all appurtenances.
Bidders must bid on all items of the contract. The whole workunder this contract will be awarded as a single contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the work. No bid may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.

Boulevard, Muskogee, OK 74403; (918) 682- 7811. Payment Options: Online Download $25.00 or 1/2 size Paper Set $50.00, none of which are refundable. All checks shall be made payable to Holloway, Updike & Bellen, Inc. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond, or Cashier’s Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, payable without reserve to the Muskogee Co. RWD No. 7, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security of the two low bidders will be retained until approval of contract and execution of satisfactory bonds by the successful bidder, or until other disposition the bids is made. BIDDER must purchase plans and specifications from Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. either directly for paper plans and specifications or through our website for download. BIDDER must be on plan holders list at Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. in order to submit a bid
The bonds required will be a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond, each in the full amount of the contract. The City will not accept letters of credit in lieu of any bond required herein.
No Pre-Bid Conference is scheduced. The bidder must supply all the information required by the bid and proposal form including completion of affidavits or his bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected.
The City may request of any bidder, before his bid is considered for award, that he submit a statement of facts as to his previous experience in performing work of the same character and magnitude, as to his business and technical organization, and financial resources and plant available and to be use in performing the contemplated work. Each bidder must have such information, together with a recent financial statement, available upon request.
This project is to be financed by a CDBG grant.

C. All bidders must comply with the AntiKickback Act and the Contract Work Hours Standards Act.
D. "Davis Bacon Act wage rules shall apply. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and sub contractors on projects funded directly by or assisted in whole or in part by and through the Federal Government shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with subchapter IV of Chapter 31 of Title 40, United States Code. The Department of Labor provides all pertinent information related to compliance with labor standards, including prevailing wage rates and instructions for reporting. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Conditional bids shall not be accepted.
