Ken Doke: ?So this is different than the earlier one. This disposal is two items that were from a surplus back in November. So, there's not a number, a corresponding number to go with it, but it is a surplus that was filed back in November of 25, and those two items were disposed of.?; Assessor to extend the Board of Equalization review period through the end of June 2026. Ron Dean: ?The Board of Equalization meets every year during the month of May to hear protest from taxpayers that we've had informal hearings with. For residential property owners, that's never a problem. For commercial businesses, in off times, is. They normally have got tax representatives that are working with them. We're talking lots of assets and a lot of time spent on the company's behalf, but also on our behalf, trying to go through and come to a resolution before going to the board. We've extended the board in which in statute the assessor has got the right to extend the board at any time through the month of June. But it's difficult to get a quorum of two members if they don't know in advance. So that's why I'm wanting to go ahead now and assume that we're going to need to extend the board through June and to where we can go ahead and schedule four dates in the month of June for the equalization board members to where there can be at least two there. So if we have the need to offer those dates to companies for the hearings, we're going to go ahead and do that in advance. So just trying to be proactive.? Kenny Payne: ?And just to be clear, because this question got asked earlier, that is statutorily acceptable?? Ron Dean: ?Yes. The assessor has the right to extend the board through June. There was no paperwork presented for signatures to support this motion; Interlocal Agreement between the Sheriff of Muskogee County / Board of County Commissioners and McIntosh County Sheriff's Office / McIntosh County Board of Board of Commissioners to provide housing and board for inmates of Muskogee County.
